Reid Richardson
Through extraordinary visual imagery, Reid Richardson communicates profound visions of hope for the future and nostalgia of his youth. His distinct color palette, subject matter and technique resonate with a growing audience. Having an appetite for self exploration in a modern world, his intention is to exploit the hidden meaning in the simple beauties of life’s nuances. His brush is attracted to create bold images of poetic skies and surrealistic landscapes. His work has developed over the past years into a complex personal vocabulary of imagery that stirs emotion and engages the intellect.
A graduate of Arizona State Universities painting program he now pursues a fulfilling career as a contemporary landscape painter and professional print maker. Currently living and working in Phoenix, Arizona his work has been exhibited in galleries both locally and internationally for nearly eight years.
"Painting for me is about the process, not the result.“
His work transcends the boundaries of any particular painting style, creating a unique beauty which engages the intellect as well as the emotions of the viewer.” –Christine Pabst
